"To capture the essence of a person takes sensitivity and a gift for seeing deeply into the subject, as well as experience and technical expertise to transport that vision on film.

What inspires me most about photography, is the act of continuously finding the new in each project, discovering the poetry in each person and being able to transcribe that onto an image.

My aim is to challenge myself creatively, to see each shoot with fresh eyes, as if it is the first time I shoot a portrait, a wedding an ad or a spread for a magazine, taking chances into unknown territory. This is what inspires me,this is what keeps my creative juices flowing and this is why I love my work so much."

I have been working as a professional Photographer since 1987. I started my career working in the field of Fashion and Editorial Photography in New York City and Amsterdam, Holland.

In 1990 I moved to Providence, RI where I founded, directed and established STUDIO 3 PHOTOGRAPHY until 2001. I then took a sabbatical for three years, living and traveling in Europe and India.

After having returned to Rhode Island I gave birth to my son in the beginning of 2005 and discovered a new joy beyond my wildest dreams.

It has been my joy and honor to have the privilege of working with so many wonderful people so closely and at such special times of their lives, gracefully bringing out their beauty and capturing their precious moments.
